API Tryout
Getting Started
Before using the Data Graph playground, sign in to your account in Developer Portal to authenticate.
If you would like to use an API key to authenticate, complete the following steps:
- 1. Obtain the Data Integrity Suite API key and API secret in your workspace.
- 2. Generate Bearer Token — See How to Authenticate to generate an access-token.
- 3. Copy and paste your token to the Headers section in Data Graph Playground.
Access Playground
Access the Data Graph Playground and copy paste the sample queries below to see what Data Graph can do. For more information about how to use the explorer, see Data Graph Playground Documentation.
There are three sample queries provided for you to get started. Or you can type any queries into this side of the screen, and you will see intelligent typeaheads aware of the current GraphQL type schema and live syntax and validation errors highlighted within the text.
The following query calls a select set of fields from the Property Attributes dataset. The full Property Attributes dataset includes over 150 available fields.
Query Example
query propertyAttributesByAddress {
getByAddress(address: "3145 Geneva St Denver") {
propertyAttributes {
data {
livingSquareFootage
bedroomCount
bathroomCount {
value
}
saleAmount
}
}
}
}GraphQL Errors
There are errors to the execution of a GraphQL operation. They include:
- Syntax errors (e.g., a query was malformed)
- Validation errors (e.g., a query included a schema field that doesn't exist)
If a syntax error or validation error occurs, server doesn't execute the operation at all because it's invalid.
Resolve a GraphQL error by referring to message in the error block.
Connect Postman to Data Graph
You can choose to interact with GraphQL API using the Postman Collection. The Postman Collection comes with a configurable environment and variables that let you easily authenticate.
